#OpenSelection is the campaign to allow Labour members to select and reselect their parliamentary candidates democratically. It's also been called Mandatory Reselection.
One Member One Vote has given the Labour Party new hope and renewed confidence, with a bold new leadership and manifesto - For the Many, Not the Few.
This motion going to this year’s Labour Conference takes the next step, replacing the clumsy, complicated and conflict-ridden ‘trigger ballot’ with a simple democratic vote among local Labour members on who should stand as their parliamentary candidate.
Come and hear more at our Labour Party Conference Fringe Meeting.
Speakers include Paul Mason, Chris Williamson MP, Huda Elmi NEC Member Elect, Emma Dent Coad MP, Rachel-Godfrey Wood from Momentum, and Matt Wrack, General Secretary of the FBU. Other speakers to be confirmed.
